Our Radiologists
The radiology group, Goldberg, Davenport, Rozin, & Rohren, MDs, P.A. (GDRR) provides professional services for Partners Imaging Center of Sarasota and the same radiologists also wholly own the center. The group is made up of subspecialist radiologists, each practicing exclusively in his area of expertise. They also provide services to over 25 outpatient imaging centers and medical practices by way of teleradiology. Each radiologist has developed and designed specific scan protocols that is specific to the reason why the referring physician ordered the exam. Also, each of the radiologists' reports is detailed and complete, addressing the patient's complaint and the referring physician's concerns.
Dr. Goldberg is founder and president of Goldberg, Davenport, Rozin, & Rohren, MDs, P.A and managing partner of Partners Imaging Center of Sarasota. He received his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine and completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. He is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology. Dr. Goldberg has been practicing radiology in Sarasota, FL for more than 19 years and has developed a large referral base of physicians. His area of speciality is Thoracic, GI, GU, Cardiovascular, and Body Imaging.
Dr. Davenport received his medical degree from the University of Florida and completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, NY. He subsequently completed a full 2 year neuroradiology fellowship at Harvard's Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA. He is a former Chief of Head & Neck Radiology at Yale-New Haven Hospital and an attending neuroradiologist at Albany Medical Center. He is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology and has achieved a Certificate in Added Qualification (CAQ) from the American Board of Radiology in neuroradiology. He is a senior member of the American Society of Neuroradiology. Dr. Davenport exclusively practices neuroradiology and head & neck radiology.
Dr Rozin received his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh, completed a Diagnostic Radiology residency at The Western Pennsylvania Hospital, and a dedicated fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology at the University of Pittsburgh. He is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology. When Dr. Rozin joined GDRR in 2001, he became the areas only fellowship trained musculoskeletal radiologist and set new standards of imaging protocols and interpretation for the orthopedic and podiatric community. His practice is dedicated exclusively to musculoskeletal radiology and he interprets exams, performs arthrograms and consults with many orthopedic and rheumatologic groups that provide imaging services to their patients. He is frequently asked for second opinions and is a consultant to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Pittsburgh Pirates, and Cincinnati Reds.
Dr. Rohren received his medical degree from Mayo Medical School and completed a Ph.D. in molecular immunology at the Mayo Graduate School in Rochester, Minnesota. He completed a diagnostic radiology residency at Duke University Medical Center and subsequently a formal nuclear medicine/PET fellowship also at Duke under the direction of Dr. Ed Coleman, a renowned pioneer and expert in PET imaging. He was formerly on staff at the Mayo Clinic with appointments in both radiology and nuclear medicine, and was an associate professor in the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine. He is dual board certified in diagnostic radiology and nuclear medicine. Dr. Rohren is an expert in PET/CT imaging, having authored many articles and book chapters on the subject. He frequently performs local and national lectures as well as continuing education seminars for other radiologists. He has developed specialized PET/CT scan protocols tailored to the patient's clinical problems and is known for his highly accurate and detailed reports.
